Introducing Our First Lady - Lady Michelle Hedgemon


Lady Michelle Hedgemon believes that while her life’s purpose serves as a model of healing and restoration, her ultimate desire is for her life to always provide a methodology in meeting provisions in supporting women holistically. Lady Michelle has an all-inclusive passion in serving others through healthcare advocacy.

Professionally, in 2001 she attained her very first certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Pearl River Community College. Shortly thereafter, she attained an Associate’s Degree Nursing from Meridian Community College, 2007. Lady Michelle also attained her Bachelors of Science Nursing from Western Governor’s University, 2019 and now holds a Master of Science Nursing, Walden University, 2023. Lady Michelle will earn Board Certification in Acute Gerontology/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Licensure in 2024. She matriculated through acute and long term care settings in areas of general adult, pediatric, pain treatment, pain management, telemetry, pre-op/ recovery, homecare hospice, rehabilitative residential and intensive care- high observation units. Additionally, she worked at the Meridian Public School District for 5 years as a Lead instructor in Secondary Education of Health Science at Ross Collins Career & Technical Center (MHS).

Personally, Lady Michelle was born in Georgia, however she spent most of her childhood in the quaint hills of Oak Grove, MS. Lady Michelle is the oldest of three children to her parents of Hattiesburg, Kenny and Mary Floyd (Ransom Poole). Bishop Hedgemon met Lady Michelle during a campus bible study led by Bishop while both were in college. They married in 2002, and shortly after marriage they relocated to Bishop’s hometown, Meridian, MS. Since, Lady Michelle has consistently served in nursing throughout many regions of Lauderdale County and surrounding areas for more than 20 years. God has blessed them with three exceptionally gifted children Alaysia, BaLeigh and (BJ) LaBaron Hedgemon, II. Lady Michelle was raised in the Hattiesburg Church of God in Christ (COGIC) under the tutelage of Elder Bobby (Ola) Carpenter. Growing up in the COGIC, she was cultivated early of the importance on how to obey and listen for God’s voice. She received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at 10 years old. Her God –given gifts were identified early on in childhood, which were often confirmed as she brought insight to her family through dreams and interpretations of dreams. Lady Michelle operates fully in taking authority in the realm of the Spirit proclaiming in Jesus Name! She confidently declares and operates as one of God’s anointed end time intercessors.

As an ordained Minister, Lady Michelle is an active member of Freedom Rock Cathedral, and she serves as leader of WoMAX, whereas it strives to provide women with a virtuous example of how they can accomplish their dreams through the concepts of “Birthing, Bonding, and Building”. She has ministered to countless souls and has a very fervent heart for evangelism. At Freedom Rock Cathedral she serves as a licensed minister on MIT “ministers in training” staff under the tutelage of Bishop Hedgemon. She flows heavily in the prophetic, gifts of wisdom, administration, discernment, faith, and healing & deliverance. She trusts in the supernatural capabilities that rest in the Blood of Jesus. Countless have witnessed the deliverance of many souls through her ministry gifts. Under the anointing, she maneuvers as teacher with prophetic insight projected through the word of knowledge. Lady Michelle has a heart for serving women of the community and within her church family. Specifically, her heart’s desire is to empower women of all ages all over the world to conquer the paths of becoming the very preeminent woman, mother, sister or friend that God desires them to be. Minister Hedgemon has served as a board member to the Center of Pregnancy Choices for four years. She also is currently Vice-President of 24/7 Developments, LLC, real estate business founded by she and Bishop Hedgemon in 2009. Minister Hedgemon is the founder of GoGrace, LLC and the “Little Ladies” seminar that sponsors many youth and provides a summer enrichment outreach programs in conjunction with LaBaron Hedgemon Ministries Inc. She has been interviewed locally by WTOK- Meridian regarding the needs of young women throughout her community and shared internationally on The WORD Network on subjects related to women serving in leadership roles and the evolving of the millennial age church.
